Cathryn Perry Launches Kickstarter Campaign for Her One-of-a-Kind New Children’s Book

Now Seeking Community Support via Kickstarter, Fossa Palooza is a Book about an incredible top predator, the Fossa of Madagascar! Fossa Palooza teaches children about Madagascar’s amazing biodiversity AND gives back to the local community through education and conservation support!

Cathryn Perry is an inspiring American author, wife and mother. Her previous job as a Zoo Animal Trainer and zookeeper inspired her to write about less-than-well known animals and the incredible places they come from. Each story is an effort to support habitat conservation and inspire the next generation of stewards of our earth. She has proudly announced the launch of her adventurous new hardcover children’s book about the amazing characteristics of the fossa. This one-of-a-kind story not only highlights the fossa but also showcases the diverse animals of Madagascar through incredible hand-painted illustrations made by a zookeeper and artist, named Claire Turner. The book titled, ‘Fossa Palooza’ is a fun factual animal adventure that aims to educate children about Madagascar’s top predator. 

To publish this book worldwide, Cathryn launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, aiming to raise funds for the book and, support for it’s important conservation message. The crowdfunding campaign goal is a sum of $7,000, to cover publishing, translating (into French and Malagsy!), custom fossa plushes and distribution of other limited-time rewards. Backers from around the world are welcome to make their generous contributions to the Kickstarter campaign by pre-ordering the book, supporting book donations to the families of Madagascar, and pledging for other educational and fun rewards like, painting pages!
